We’ve been hearing all about Honda’s Advanced Driving Assistant System (ADAS), Honda Sensing, but do you know how the systems actually work? To make it easy for users to understand, Honda released a new video showing us how Honda Sensing works.

In the video, Honda demonstrated several systems such as the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Forward Collision Warning (FCW).

ACC allows the car to maintain a fixed speed distance-sensing cameras to help keep a safe distance from the car ahead.

Say if the car senses that the car ahead is slowing down, the system will also reduce the speed to maintain the same distance.

FCW works to alert drivers of sudden braking of the car ahead, or if there is an obstacle the driver’s car is approaching. If the driver does not respond in time, the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) will kick in to apply the brakes to slow down the vehicle.

All these systems mentioned are part of Honda Sensing that is now available on the new 2022 Honda City Hatchback 1.5V and 1.5 e:HEV RS variants.

The Honda City Hatchback 1.5V is priced at RM 95,600 while the range-topping 1.5 e:HEV RS variant is priced at RM 109,800. Both prices quoted are on-the-road without insurance.
