The infamous Satin Hornet Yellow Proton X50 that lit the internet on fire last year was involved in an accident a couple of days ago. 

Images of the battered car was uploaded by the owner himself, Lee Jian Xian. The car seems to have absorbed the impact pretty well, and Lee looks relatively unscathed. 

It's understood that the car hit both left and right highway dividers before coming to a stop, but how the accident happened wasn't disclosed. 

Though he captioned the post with "Thanks for protecting me so well. Sorry and fare well.", it's probably not the last we'll see of his car - a post on the All In Cross Fifty Accessories Malaysia page hints at the car's repair and revival. 

What happened was unfortunate, but we're glad Lee's safe.
