Fatal accident once again proves dangers of impatience and beating the red light

Time and time again there's news of big accidents caused by motorists beating the red light, and this entry is no different. Viewer discretion is advised for the attached video.

Said to have happened in Menglembu, Ipoh, Perak, the dashcam recording shows motoring queuing up for the traffic light. Moments later, a motorcyclist rides across the road, before an early-model Toyota Vios beats the red light and crashes into the biker.

Amidst this very unfortunate accident, let this serve as a reminder for two critical road safety behaviours: never beat the red light, and it's always worth waiting a second or two to see if the roads are properly clear before you make your move.
