- Yet another update for the NL3 Geely Boyue
- New looks, but same engine as before
- Final update before new-generation model arrives?
The brand-new, CMA-based Geely Boyue may be on the horizon, but that has not stopped Geely from introducing a final hurrah to the outgoing model.
According to Chinese sources, Geely is set to debut this updated 2022 Geely Boyue in China on 28-April, which is this coming Thursday.

Changes include headlights from the Boyue Pro / Boyue X, but with a completely redesigned front bumper and grille, the latter replete with 16 vertical slats. There’s also a set of 19-inch twin five spoke alloy wheels.

These early shots of the updated Boyue did not show the rear-end, but we reckon there could be minor revisions as well.
The interior of the new 2022 Geely Boyue has also been refreshed. There’s now a new beige-brown two-tone interior, while infotainment duties are taken care of by a new 10.25-inch touchscreen display.
Despite the new visual changes, it’s business as usual under the hood of the new 2022 Boyue. The tried-and-tested turbocharged 1.8-litre engine continues here, outputting 184 PS and 300 Nm, mated either to a 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
