Ford Malaysia launches real-time e-Service appointment booking system

Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC), the sole distributor for Ford vehicles in Malaysia, announced their new online booking tool that allows Ford owners to make service appointments in real-time.
The new real-time e-Service booking tool will allow Ford owners who are looking to service their vehicles to immediately check the service slot availability at their chosen dealership.
All Ford owners have to do is log on to the Ford website and select the “Book a Service” tab. They are then required to select their vehicle model, before specifying the state they are located in and picking their preferred service centre from the drop-down list.
Next, they will then be guided to fill up their particulars including their vehicle registration numbers and contact details. Once completed, a confirmation email will be sent to them.
The e-Service tool is a much-needed convenience in light of the Covid-19 pandemic. Although the country is currently in the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) phase, car service centres are still requiring customers to book an appointment as part of their crowd control efforts.
At the moment, the real-time e-Service tool is only available at 7 authorised Ford Service Centres across the country:
- Ford Ara Damansara
- Ford Petaling Jaya 2
- Ford Juru
- Ford Butterworth
- Ford Kuching
- Ford Kota Kinabalu
- Ford Tawau
SDAC has plans to expand the service to all service centres in the coming months, so stay tuned for updates!
