Geely in talks with Korea's SK Group to develop fuel cell vehicles

Just recently we reported that Geely has struck up a new partnership with Baidu to expand into the driverless electric car game, now there is word that Geely is in talks with SK Group for a partnership to expand into the fuel-cell electric vehicle (FCEV) business.
SK Group is a South Korean conglomerate primarily involved in the chemical, petroleum, and energy industries.

Seeing as the group recently acquired a 9.9 percent stake in Plug Power, a company focussed on the development of hydrogen fuel cell systems, joining hands with Geely is just the second step in their journey into vehicles using alternative energy.
If the partnership is sealed, Geely will be well on their way to fulfilling their vision to launch their first hydrogen fuel cell model by 2025. Currently, the only FCEV that the brand is producing is a fuel cell bus.
