Geely has taken over the Philippines and Russia, now they’re looking to conquer Laos as well. The brand officially made its debut in the landlocked country on 20-July-2021.

The company launched two models on its debut, the Geely Azkarra, also known as the Geely Boyue Pro, and the Geely Coolray, better known as the Proton X50 to Malaysians.

While Geely Laos is already selling cars in the land of a million elephants, the brand is still operating from a temporary showroom.

An official Geely showroom is still under construction and planned for a February 2022 launch, but that depends on the Covid-19 situation in the country. The official opening might be pushed back depending on the country's situation.
