After making a splash with an unconventional name with the Kungfu Cow/ Bull, Geometry, Geely’s electric vehicle (EV) sub-brand, decided to go super simple with their latest SUV. Named the Geometry E, the electric company recently dropped a few teasers of the car.
Like the Geometry Kungfu Cow, the Geometry E is also based on the Geely Yuanjing X3. But unlike the Kungfu Cow, the E is more than just a repainting exercise.

From what we can see in the teasers, the Geometry E will feature a much more modern look more akin to the Geely Icon.
The teaser showed off the car’s modern daytime running lights paired with a slick front end. The car will also feature dual-tone paint. The rear is where things get interesting as it features a cut out third brake light on the rear spoiler paired with stylish taillights.
Measuring 4,006 x 1,765 x 1,550 mm in length, width, and height with a wheelbase of 2,485 mm, the E doesn’t stray far from the Yuanjing X3’s size it is based on. In comparison, the Proton X50 is about 330 mm longer than the Geometry E.

Powertrain specifics are still sparse, the only detail is the car’s electric motor produces only 81 PS, which is much less than the Kungfu Cow’s 95 PS.
However, Geely did tease that the Geometry E is fully capable even in low temperatures. Just one day before they dropped the teasers, Geometry released photos of the E testing in a snow-covered landscape.
In the photos, the car was covered in a tiger stripe camouflage in a bid to throw everybody off the official name of the car. The SUV was previously heavily tipped to be named Geometry ‘X Pi Li Hu’ or X Thunder Tiger before it was revealed that the official name is actually Geometry E.
The Geometry E will make its world debut at the Beijing Auto Show that will take place in April. Stay tuned for more updates.
