Got RM 270k to spare for an EV? 16 photos of the VW ID.3 could convince you

If the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6 are just too mainstream for you and you want to truly stand out from the crowd, we’ve got good news for you.

Weststar Motors has this grey import, UK-spec Volkswagen ID.3 listed on their site, priced at RM 268,000. Yes, the price of ID.3 is within the same ballpark of the Ioniq 5 and EV6, which makes it a interesting proposition for someone that wants a truly unique EV.

A quick check on Carlist.my reveals that there are only two units on sale at the time of writing, one of which is currently on sale by Weststar Motors.

According to Weststar Motors, this is the 1st Edition Pro Performance model, which is painted in an eye-catching Glacier White paint with black roof and decals. Furthermore, this UK-spec ID.3 also gets 19-inch Andoya dual-tone alloy wheels.

Being a 1st Edition model, VW has plastered a number of said emblem throughout the ID.3, including on the exterior and interior.

Speaking of interior, the ID.3 features a floating-style infotainment system and a smaller fully-digital instrument cluster nestled in front of the steering wheel.

The 1st Edition model also gains exclusive features like a 30-colour ambient lighting system, “Air Care Climatic” dual-zone air-conditioning system, heated front seats, and dual USB-C charging ports.

Power comes from an electric motor that does 204 PS and 310 Nm. AC charging can go up to 11 kW, while DC fast charging can reach up to 120 kW. Charging is done via the CCS port.
