This is episode 2 of the cool as a cucumber after an accident, as a video showing a senior citizen sitting in a 6-car carnage and lighting up a stick went viral. While the video was hilarious, it was later discovered that the man was smoking to calm himself down.
In the 1-minute long video, the videographer made sure to show viewers the damages that the senior citizen’s white Perodua Myvi caused before coming to a stop. The man, who looks to be in his 60s, was still sitting in the wrecked Myvi and was just lighting up a stick.
The conversation that followed showed how calm the man was. He even counted how many cars he crashed before coming to a stop.
When police arrived on the scene, they discovered that the senior citizen had suffered from an undisclosed illness causing him to lose control of his car. It seems the Myvi only came to a stop when it wedged itself into the side of a Nissan Livina.
Fortunately, the senior citizen was able to come to a stop and all he hit were parked cars. There are plenty of videos of cars being driven dangerously when the driver was suffering from a disease, losing control of their cars and only stopping after causing devastating damages.
The senior citizen has since been sent to Hospital Pulau Pinang for treatment. We hope grandpa has a full recovery and lay off the cigs after this.
