The Haval H6 Hybrid is capable of level 2 semi-autonomous driving with a host of features such as:
- Integrated Auto Parking (IAP) - helps perform all three parking patterns—parking the car in vertical, horizontal, and diagonal scenes.
- Auto Reversing Assistance (ARA) – similar to BMW’s reversing assistant, it memorizes the past 50 meters and reverses accordingly.
- Wisdom Dodge System (WDS) - This function detects and automatically controls the vehicle to keep a fixed distance from large-size vehicles, such as trucks, in adjacent lane while overtaking and automatically steer the vehicle back to its original track after passing them.
The Haval H6 Hybrid is said to be the first in class to feature these technologies in the Thai market. It will be launched and open for pre-booking in Thailand within the second quarter of this year.
The Haval H6 Hybrid is locally-assembled at GWM's plant in Rayong, which allows it to be priced more competitively against the upcoming Proton X70 that is slated to launch in Thailand this year. The Proton X70 will be fully-imported from Malaysia.
Back home, the Haval H6 is confirmed for Malaysia. However, GWM did not provide a specific timeline for the Haval H6’s launch in Malaysia, nor details of its powertrain. So watch this space for more updates.

The quest for automotive knowledge began as soon as the earliest memories. Various sources information, even questionable ones, have been explored including video games, television, magazines, or even internet forums. Still stuck in that rabbit hole.
