How much does it cost to maintain the Honda City RS?

Over a 5-year/100,000-km duration, it costs RM 3,726.59 to maintain a City RS at Honda’s authorized service centres, which is RM 56.88 more than the regular City 1.5.

Honda Malaysia currently offers free labour charges for every two service interval, up to the 100,000-km/5-year mark.

The most expensive service for the City RS is performed at the 60-month/100,000-km mark, as the spark plugs are replaced. The four iridium spark plugs cost RM 502.42 to replace.

Keep in mind that this price does not include the cost of tyre or battery replacement. It is also worth mentioning that the choice of engine oil will also affect the final amount.

Then there's the hybrid battery. The price of replacing the hybrid battery in the City RS has yet to be revealed by Honda Malaysia, but for comparison, it costs less than RM 6,000 to replace the hybrid battery in the previous-generation City Hybrid and Jazz Hybrid.

That said, Honda hybrid battery replacements are surprisingly rare, even rarer than Toyota hybrids.
