Honda opens its flood relief VTEC for customers whose VTEC isn’t kicking in

Joining the ever-expanding list of carmakers extending flood relief to owners with vehicles damaged during the recent floods is Honda Malaysia with a discount of 25 percent on genuine parts under this programme.

Effective immediately, the programme will offer the discount to owners from now until 31 January 2022. Affected customers are advised to visit any of the Honda authorised dealers for an assessment process and inspection service.

Honda customers that have subscribed to Honda Insurance Plus (HiP) can enjoy free inspection for their cars to ensure that the cars are safe to drive and in good running condition, especially after the floods.

If the vehicle isn’t running, HiP customers are entitled to towing services for their cars damaged by the floods to the nearest Honda authorised dealership. Additionally, they’ll be entitled to a flood allowance of up to RM1,500 to alleviate their burden during these trying times.

Honda Malaysia itself is also increasing efforts with insurance companies to expedite the claim process for affected customers.

HiP also comes with roadside assistance where the rescue teams are always ready to assist and help customers at anytime and anywhere.
