  • Honda Malaysia surpassed 80,200 units, narrowly hitting their target of 80,000 units
  • The City, City Hatchback and HR-V lead the way as the 3 best-sellers
  • This makes it 9 consecutive years as the leading non-national car brand

Honda Malaysia kicks off 2023 with the best possible news, announcing that they’ve sold over 80,200 units of sales for 2022, beating their initial estimate of 80,000 units by a smidgen.

The figures also translate into an increase of 51 percent in sales over the corresponding numbers from 2021. Needless to say, the sales figures mean Honda retains its position as the No.1 car brand in the non-national passenger vehicle segment for a ninth consecutive year; having claimed this feather in its cap back in 2014.

“Better late than never.” Some despise it, others begrudgingly agree with it but he swears by it… much to the chagrin of everyone around him. That unfortunately stems from all of his project cars not running most of the time, which in turn is testament to his questionable decision-making skills in life. A culmination of many wrongs fortunately making a right; much like his project cars on the rare occasions they run, he’s still trying to figure out if another project car is the way to go.
