Just have a look at this restomodded, second-generation 1990 Suzuki Jimny, shared on Instagram by Hezeri Samsuri, managing editor of Careta. Finished in a pale mustard yellow paintjob, the exterior colour matches perfectly with the black six-spoke wheels and custom wheelarches.

The whole exterior brings together the owner's vision of a blending a cult-classic car recipe with some modern bits. There's even a LED headlamp cluster (replete with LED daytime running lights) and a Akrapovic exhaust tip!

Meanwhile, the interior has been left pretty much stock standard (save for the 'Turbo'-badged steering wheel), which is no bad thing. The upholstery all appears to be in immaculate condition as well.

The engine bay looks clean and factory-fresh too. Notice the emergency tyre jack in the engine bay? Who does that?! Despite what the steering says, the engine is naturally-aspirated. This one has a 5-speed manual transmission.

If I ever had a second-gen Suzuki Jumny, this would be exactly how I'd modify it as well. Which is to keep all the best classic traits, while adding modern touches to keep the car looking fresh and effortlessly cool. Whoever you are, mysterious owner, well done!
