G28 BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine Iconic Edition pictured
The Indian-market G28 BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine ‘Iconic Edition’ (how’s that for a name), is the first 3 Series variant in the world to receive an illuminated kidney grille. Hate or love it, this adds yet another dimension to the already complex styling of BMW grilles.
Despite the name, India's 3 Series Gran Limousine is similar to our long-wheelbase G28 BMW 330Li, which courtesy of a 110 mm longer wheelbase, offers an additional 42 mm of legroom and 4 mm extra headroom over the standard G20 3 Series.

In the case of limited-run Iconic Edition – additions don't stop at the lit grilles, it also includes features such as a crystal gear selector, a rear headrest pillow (just like the 7 Series) and a coat hanger.
The 3 Series Gran Limousine is offered in two variants, the 190 PS / 400 Nm 320Ld or 258 PS / 400 Nm 330Li sending power to the rear wheels through an 8–speed automatic.
