The Road and Transport Department (JPJ) in Melaka will be auctioning off 46 vehicles in September. A MINI Cooper 3-Door and a Subaru Impreza are two of the cars the department is looking to auction off with a starting price of RM 10,000. JPJ hopes to gain at least RM 1.5 million from the auction.
According to the director of JPJ Melaka, Muhammad Firdaus Shariff, the cars on auction were cloned cars confiscated during various raids. The ownership of each car was forfeited before they are put up for auction starting from 6-September-2021 to 20-September-2021.

The lowest starting price of RM 965 is for a Toyota Corolla.
Firdaus encourages all who are interested in the auction to download the quotation documents that will be uploaded on JPJ Melaka’s official Facebook page.
Due to the ongoing battle against Covid-19, JPJ Melaka will only allow 20 interested buyers to visit the auction site per day. Those wishing to visit the site are required to make an appointment by filling up a Google Form.
In conjunction with the country’s Merdeka celebrations, JPJ is holding a 70 discount on all summonses from now until 16-September-2021. Remember to take the opportunity to pay off your summons!
