The Road Transport Department (JPJ) is offering up to 70 percent discount on 3.5 million compoundable summonses that are still active.
Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong said, "The discount offer will be valid for two months starting April 13 till June 13."

He noted that blacklisted motorists who have been unable to renew their driving licenses or road tax for unsettled summonses would benefit from the discount.
"For example, with the discount, a motorist will only have to pay RM45 to settle a RM150 summons. This will allow the individual's name to taken off the JPJ blacklist," he added.
