Lamborghini delivered 5,090 cars worldwide in the first six months of 2022 – setting a record high in its half-year sales. Out of the 5,090 cars sold, the Lamborghini Urus is responsible for 61% of sales while the Lamborghini Huracán and Aventador (though the latter is reaching its end of production) super sports cars accounts for 39%.

This is an increase of 30.6% from the first six months of 2021, which in financial terms indicates a whopping EUR 1.33 billion turnover. These figures are driven by an increase in volumes; the product mix; higher customisation; and positive exchange rates.

Paolo Poma, Managing Director and CFO of Automobili Lamborghini, said: “This is a very challenging time but Lamborghini is facing it successfully thanks to a clear long-term strategy, which is bolstered by the brand’s great appeal. The results from the first half underline the positive trend and strengthen our conviction that we can end 2022 with a significant increase in results compared to the previous year.”

To recap, the all-new Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica was unveiled in April: the rear-wheel drive model with a new design and a latest-generation V10 engine delivers fun-to-drive performance on both road and track.

Lamborghini also has plans starting from August to release three new product announcements this year: two regarding the Lamborghini Urus and one Huracán.
