Alongside the JCW 3 Door facelift, MINI Malaysia has also launched the 2021 MINI JCW Countryman facelift. As before, it’s fully imported from the UK and is priced at RM 383,463 (OTR without insurance, inclusive of SST discount and extended warranty with service package).

Powertrain remains unchanged; the B48 2.0-litre turbocharged engine makes 306 PS and 450 Nm of torque (up by 114 PS/170 Nm from the Cooper S version). Drive is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. 0-100 km/h takes 5.1 seconds and tops out at 250 km/h.

Changes to the exterior are subtle, with revised headlamps (adaptive LED with matrix function) and tail lamps with Union Jack graphics to bring it in line with other MINI models.

The front bumper appears to be carried over while the rear bumper gets subtle tweaks with larger reflectors. Wheels are 19-inch units wrapped with run-flat tyres.

Moving to the interior, the 5.0-inch digital instrument cluster behind the steering wheel is now standard, while the 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system has revised bezel with touch-sensitive control panels in high-gloss Piano Black. Apple CarPlay connectivity is supported.

As standard, the MINI JCW Countryman comes with head-up display, 12-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, panoramic sunroof, and wireless charger.
