A very interesting photo depicting all of Subaru’s product plan all the way through to 2024 has come to our attention courtesy of Autoguide. It looks like the launch of the next Subaru BRZ and Subaru WRX is set as soon as 2021!
While the blurry photo seems legit and all, we still caution to view this with a pinch of salt as Autoguide did not offer any context with only an explanation that the graph might be a generalisation of when production is expected to begin.
This could be the case as we previously reported that the EV, a collaboration between Subaru and Toyota, is due in October 2021. But on the graph, it shows that the EV is expected in Spring of 2022 instead.

Or there is a possibility that this graph might apply to just the USA market as is evident with the Subaru Ascent on the list. The Ascent name is used only in the USA as Subaru North America has trademarked the name in the US market only.

Either way, the graph also shows us that Subaru is expecting the new Subaru BRZ as soon as the second quarter of 2021. We have already reported about spied pictures of BRZ’s twin, the Toyota 86, testing on the roads after all.
The Subaru Forester is also due for a facelift around the same time as the launch of the new generation BRZ as is seen in the graph.

Another interesting fact is the new generation Subaru WRX will also make its debut in 2021 while the STI version is expected to follow a year later in the third half of 2022. After the launch of the first-ever Subaru EV that is scheduled for mid-2022.
