Honda Thailand has shown various models at this year's Bangkok International Motor Show. Seen here is this range-topping 2020 Honda City Turbo RS.
Powered by a 1.0-litre VTEC Turbo engine, it churns 122 PS and 173 Nm to the front wheels via a CVT gearbox. Honda cites this mill has a fuel efficiency of 23.8 km/litre (4.2-litre/100 km).
Anyway, let’s take a closer look at how much car one gets for THB 739,000.
Up front, it gets the new family face with LED headlights that flanks the gloss black front grille.
There’s also LED fog lights on the lower fascia.
Round the sides, the RS gets unique 16-inch wheels.
Black side mirrors with built-in indicators are also unique features on the RS.
The rear features LED tail lights and a boot lid spoiler. Capping off the visual goodies is the Ignite Red colour - an RS exclusive.
Inside, the City gets an off-centre 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay (also supports Siri!) and Android Auto, as well as automatic air-conditioning.
Besides paddle shifters, the multi-function steering wheel also controls the stereo system, phone and air-conditioning.
The new cloth front seats feature red stitching.
All in all, it’s a pretty cool package and it’ll be a welcome addition when the all-new 2020 Honda City range makes it here, possibly somewhere around early next year.
