Honda Malaysia just announced another Milestone by delivering the 100,000 unit of Jazz to Mr.Kelvin, the owner. An official handover ceremony is held at Ban Lee Heng Motor Sdn.Bhd to celebrate this memorable moment. Honda Jazz is a global compact-hatchback model and is being widely favoured for its application of high-tech, versatility, functionality and practicality. 

The Jazz is being introduced in 2003 for the first time as CBU (Completely Built-up) unit. Over 18,000 units sold out, the first-generation is stepping down a dazzling footprint in the compact hatchback segment and making itself one of the top-selling models in Honda Malaysia’s line-up.

In 2012 and 2013, Honda Malaysia dropped the first CKD (Completely Knock-Down) – Jazz Hybrid and Petrol to the market accordingly, and Honda has also occupied the B-segment by reaching a total sale of 80,000 units. The third-generation of Jazz alone sales over 75,000 units until May 2019, leading the compact hatchback in the Non-National segment with a 62% market share.

“The Jazz has captured many hearts over the years. It is a compact car designed to be fun, versatile and practical; meeting the needs of customers from different lifestyles. The Jazz attracts a wide group of customers, which varies from young executives to college goers and young married couples,” Mr. Ishiyama added. 

​The Jazz Petrol is equipped with a 1.5 Litre i-VTEC engine paired with CVT (Continuous Variable Transmission) that was based on the Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology, deliver an excellent drivability to owners without the loss of fuel efficiency and optimal performance.

Being the only country have Jazz Hybrid with Sport Hybrid i-DCD system on sale besides Japan, the variant provides a sporty driving performance coupled with spaciousness and the stylish appearance of the car. The Jazz Hybrid is powered with a new 1.5 Litre DOHC i-VTEC engine mated with 7-Speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) integrating with High Power Motor to produce excellent acceleration for sportier driving experience.

Practical, Stylish and Sporty; that’s three words used to describe Jazz properly. Follows the “Man Maximum, Machine Minimum” design concept, the Jazz promise a compact and highly efficient package by maximising the space for the ultimate comfort of its occupants. Different modes are available under the Jazz’s iconic ULTRA seat's design – Utility, Long, Tall and Refresh – to optimize the space for customers.

Honda’s 5-Star ASEAN NCAP safety features are big highlights for the market. ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System), VSA (Vehicle Stability Assist), ESS (Emergency Stop Signal) and HAS (Hill Start Assist) are standard on the E, V and Hybrid variants.
