Man calls the police after fed up of being blocked by neighbours’ cars

Ahmad Tarmizi Mad Salleh, 31, had to resort to requesting the help of the police when the front of his house became a parking compound.

As a result, one of the owners of the cars were given a summon and the situation became a trending topic on social media. Ahmad Tarmizi said that he has had enough of it after years of confrontation with the neighbours.

“My house is a corner-lot unit. So people tend to park right in front of my house, causing inconvenience. Earlier this morning, I lost my patience upon seeing 2 cars parked in front. Advised by a friend, I then called the police for help,” he said.

Within half an hour, a couple of police officers arrived and action was taken to trace the owners of the cars – a Proton Saga and a Perodua Kancil.

However, they managed to trace the owner of the Proton Saga only, who then relocated the car.

“So the police moved the Perodua Kancil after noticing that the car wasn’t locked and proceeded to issue a summon. I would like to thank the police for the assistance in resolving the matter that plagued myself all this time. The MBS (Seremban City Council) also arrived.”

“I can understand if there are some who wants to park for a short while. But this is straight-up turning it into a parking lot,” he added.

Ahmad Tarmizi says he believes the problem is a common occurrence in Malaysia and hopes that this situation can give the realization to those who frequently park in front of people’s houses.
