Massive pothole caused a couple to sustain multiple heavy injuries

Yet another pothole accident has been reported, this time in Bentong, Pahang. A couple was reportedly on their way to work when they hit a massive pothole and were thrown off their motorcycle. Both victims sustained heavy injuries due to the accident.

Kosmo Online reports that the couple were on the way to Janda Baik from Kampung Chamang when they came across the pothole.

The report also noted that the husband was wearing safety boots at the time of the accident but even with the boots he suffered from a fractured left leg while his wife received 4 stitches on her left elbow.

When asked the couple said that they did not see the pothole when they were on the way and lost control of their motorcycle before falling to the ground.

Malaysia is currently experiencing heavy rainfall with many areas like Pahang and Johor having to deploy flood relief measures. The heavy rainfall could cause more potholes to surface on the road, so be safe while driving.
