MCO 2.0: Until what time can I go out to buy food? 01

According to the new Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) guidelines of the reinstated Movement Control Order, eateries are only allowed to open from 6 am to 8 pm. Even operational, eateries are strictly limited to takeaways and delivery services only as dine-ins are forbidden until MCO is lifted.

This includes services such as food trucks, kiosks, road side stalls, drive-through services, and food delivery services.

The new guideline also applies to convenient stores and super markets like Tesco and Aeon Big. As for morning markets, sellers are only allowed to operate from 7 am to 2 pm.

Other essential services store like clinics, pharmacies, veterinaries, and laundrettes will also follow the 6 am to 8 pm guideline.

So, if you are planning to purchase any essential items, be sure to do it before 8 pm!
