MCO Update: Car wash and car dealerships allowed to open starting 16th August

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has announced that car wash services, car dealerships as well as car accessory shops will be allowed to reopen starting 16-August-2021.

Those wishing to use any of these services are required to have completed both vaccine doses and observed the inoculation period of 14 days. For those who were administered Johnson & Johnson or Cansino vaccines, they will have to complete 28 days of inoculation.

Update: Despite the approval given by the federal government to resume operations, most showrooms remain close as they sort out the standard operating procedures. Read the story here. 

Like before, interstate and inter district travels are still not allowed for the time being.

Unfortunately, there is still no news on whether driving institutes are allowed to reopen during Phase 1 or Phase 2 of the National Recovery Plan.
