Photos of a disguised Mercedes-Benz EQS in Malaysia have been circulating on social media channels. Though it can be mistaken for the EQE, its size and front fascia point towards the flagship EV from Mercedes-Benz.
Interestingly, there are wordings on the sides of the car that goes, “Under wraps till July 22 (read July twenty-second)” which seems to suggest that the Mercedes-Benz EQS could be launched on 22-July, or perhaps a preview. Nevertheless, this signifies its imminent arrival.
Globally, there are quite a few variants of the EQS, with power outputs ranging from 292 PS/565 Nm all the way to 761 PS/1,020 Nm for the EQS AMG 53.
Most variants save for the base EQS 350 get a massive 107.8 kWh battery with a WLTP range of up to 784 km for the EQS 450+, while the EQS AMG 53 is rated at 586 km.
