As the Mitsubishi Xpander expands (no pun intended) its popularity across the region, the 7-seater SUV/MPV is raking in money for the Three Diamonds brand. According to Mitsubishi’s distributors in the Philippines and Indonesia, the Xpander is the carmaker’s best-selling model in their respective markets in July 2021.

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) reported its highest sales performance record for 2021 so far with 1,207 units sold in July 2021. This was a 60% increase against the previous month.

With that sales result, the Xpander kept its position as the best-selling MPV in the Philippines.

Meanwhile, PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) reported that the Xpander and Xpander Cross contributed to more than 50% of Mitsubishi’s sales volume for the month of July.

A total of 4,569 units of both the Xpander and Xpander Cross were sold that month and Mitsubishi held a market share of 37% in its segment in addition to re-taking the country's most popular car title.
