This one-off project by Speedline Industries and Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia you see here takes after the Xpander AP4 rally car, which was a collaboration between Mitsubishi Motors Indonesia and Team Ralliart New Zealand, and built to AP4 (Asia Pacific 4) spec.
Owner of Speedline Industries, Kenneth Koh, who’s a rally driver sought inspiration from the Xpander AP4 and created a one-off Xpander with motorsport-inspired cosmetic bits.

Moving to the sides, there are extended side skirts, squared-off wheel arch extensions for a wider look, and 18-inch lightweight alloy wheels from local brand Raxer.
Over to the rear, there’s an aggressive-looking diffuser on the rear bumper and a large rear wing with canards at the sides. A roof scoop and racing liveries complete the rally look.
If you’re wondering, no it’s not available for sale at your local Mitsubishi dealer but the aforementioned cosmetic parts can be purchased directly from Speedline Industries.
Just a refresh on the Mitsubishi Xpander, it’s powered by a 4-cylinder 1.5-litre MIVEC petrol engine with 105 PS/141 Nm, mated to a 4-speed automatic that powers the front wheels. Only one variant is available, priced at RM 96,800.
