Yesterday, a video of a woman delivering a flying kick into a grey Perodua Viva went viral across various social media platforms. It has now been revealed that the woman had mistaken the elderly Viva driver for trying to kidnap her disabled (OKU) daughter.
According to Kosmo online, the incident happened in Bandar Country Homes, Gombak. The woman first realised that her OKU daughter was missing when they were buying breakfast in a shop.

When the woman went in search of her daughter, she was told by nearby shop owners that they saw her daughter climb into a grey Perodua Viva that was driven by a man.
After spreading the news about her daughter’s disappearance and circumstances across WhatsApp, the woman was able to track down the Viva. This led to the fight that went viral on social media.
Initial investigations by the police revealed that after the OKU girl left her mother’s side, she had stopped the senior citizen’s passing Viva. Not knowing what to do, the 80-year-old man had allowed the girl to climb aboard.
He was reportedly unsure where to go next because the girl remained silent after climbing into the car.
Unfortunately, as it was widely spread that a Perodua Viva driver had kidnapped an OKU girl, when kind citizens spotted the Viva, they quickly chased it down and attacked the senior citizen.
It was only after the fight did they discovered that the girl was unharmed. Fortunately, despite getting attacked, the senior citizen was also unhurt. The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) have concluded that the elderly man was not trying to kidnap the girl as well.
As a result of that, the 54-year-old mother has decided to cancel all police reports that she had previously made regarding a missing person.
