The government has implemented a Conditional Movement Control Order allowing Malaysians to return to work. Which also means many who are currently in their hometowns will have to return to the city. To continue monitoring restricted interstate travelling, the government requires all travellers to apply for travel permit via the Gerak Malaysia app. Unfortunately, many have found that the app is not working. Here’s a solution:
Aside from the app, the government has also prepared an alternative solution for those who do not have the use of a smart phone by applying for the permit at police stations nationwide. Since the app is not working, this turns out to be the only way to apply for the permit at the moment.

But you can reduce your waiting time at the police station. To ease the traffic at police stations, PDRM has uploaded the interstate travel form onto their official Facebook and Twitter profiles so travellers can easily download the form and fill it up before heading to the police station.
