Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has just added a new addition to its C-Class lineup, the C200 AMG Line. The best-seller, with more than 20,000 units sold since it was introduced to the Malaysian market in 2014, gets a second AMG line following the C300 AMG Line. This model also effectively replaces the previous EQ Boost model.

The new C200 AMG Line is powered by a new 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that produces 206 PS and 300 Nm of torque. Top speed of this updated model is 250 km/h and it launches from 0 – 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds. This engine produces more power than the previous 1.5-litre unit that powered the previous C200 with EQ Boost which had 184 PS.

On the front, the C200 AMG Line gets a new diamond radiator grille and an AMG front apron with air intakes and chrome trim elements. The back gets an AMG diffuser-look apron painted in black. 18-inch 5-spoke AMG light alloys wheels complete the sporty look.

Inside, the C200 AMG Line is fitted with Artico leather upholstery, galvanised paddle shifters, and AMG sports pedals.

The C200 AMG Line is not all about sporty looks as it comes loaded with safety features like autonomous braking, blind-spot monitor, and Pre-Safe system.

It is also equipped with Mercedes me connect, a connected car service that allows Mercedes owners to unlock their car, start the engine remotely, get customer support or check their fuel level all from the comfort of their phone.

The C200 AMG Line is available now at Mercedes-Benz dealers for RM 251,587.39 on the road without insurance.
