Kia Motors Corporation has finally released the first images of the new 2021 Kia Stinger facelift! Gran Turismo fans would find the new Stinger very familiar-looking, that’s because designers have worked to amplify and enhance the Stinger players have been piloting in the game since 2018!

While the overall look of the new Stinger remains the same, it does get a new multifaceted reflector LED headlamps and LED daytime running lights (DRL). The headlamps also get darker smoked out covers while the indicator is made up of 10 individual LED units arranged in a chequered flag pattern.

Kia has also upgraded the lamps on the Stinger’s rear end. You get a combination lamp display arranged in a new light signature pattern. It now extends the full width of the car while mimicking the subtle spoiler on the boot lid.

But no two Stinger will be exactly the same time as Kia has made the sporty sedan highly customisable. Not only do owners get to choose the colour of the car, but they can also even choose the size of their wheels along with the size of their silver exhaust mufflers that comes with a performance inspired rear diffusers.

For the first time, Kia is also offering two new exterior packages to owners to spruce up their Stingers known as the Dark Package and the Black Package.

The Dark Package is available for selected markets and offers a gloss black diffuser paired with black wide-bore muffler tips. The Stinger emblem on the tailgate will also be finished in black.

Meanwhile, the Black Package, available only for the US market, gives the Stinger an even more aggressive look. The package includes 19-inch matte black lightweight wheels, a new rear wing along with blacked-out mirror caps and side fender trim.

On the inside, while the cabin remains untouched, Kia did upgrade the materials in the cabin for a more luxurious ambience. They have also upgraded the techy bits in the car so now drivers will receive information from a 7.0-inch full digital instrument cluster.

Alongside the new digital instrument cluster is also the upgraded 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment and navigation system. Kia has also added a new ambient lighting system with 64 colour options to choose from.

Other than that, depending on which market the 2021 Kia Stinger is sold in, Kia also has new interior colour options to pick from.

Buyers from Korea will get to choose from the standard black or a Dark Brown monotone interior upholstered with Nappa leather, while the rest of the world will get a new Saturn Black option that sees the seats finished in black suede.

No details about the powertrain line-up or technology have yet been announced. More details of the 2021 Kia Stinger will be revealed later this year when Kia officially launches the performance sedan.
