Along with the launch of the Mercedes-Benz GLC and GLC Coupe, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia also launched the Mercedes me services. The full suite of connected services will be available from 2020 onwards.

Mercedes me allows car owners to remain connected to their cars via their mobile devices. Whether it is starting the engine, getting customer support or simply just checking the fuel level in their cars, owners can easily control the car from an app.

All owners need to do is install the app on their devices and activate their vehicle on the Mercedes me portal by following the comprehensive steps to access all its services.

The Mercedes me app works with all Android and Apple iOS devices, including the Apple Watch.

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has also made the app available for vehicles that are built from 2002 onwards. Owners can opt to install the Mercedes me Adapter into their vehicle’s diagnostic interface (OBD2 connector).

While the services are not as comprehensive as the ones offered in vehicles that come pre-installed with Mercedes me, like the new GLC for example, owners will still have access to their vehicle’s status (fuel level, mileage, and more), parking information of their destination, Car Health Monitor and information for the Mercedes-Benz Service Partners.

The Mercedes me adapter is available for RM 250 starting from Q1 of 2020.
