PLUS highway tollbooth

From 5 November 2019 onwards, there will be no more reload facilities at all toll plaza exit lanes. This is to help ease congestion caused by long reload times, which may take up to 3 minutes.

Based on statistical record, up to 9 percent of the daily traffic contributes to unnecessary delays due to customers experiencing insufficient balance and require emergency topping up at the exit lanes.

Plus (pun intended), there have been 81 cases of heavy vehicles crashing into toll booths between 2016 to 2018, so this move also ensures the safety of service agents.

However, Customer Service Centres and Reload Lanes at entry lanes at selected toll plazas are still provided and will be operating as usual.

PLUS highlights that there are more than 11,000 reload facilities provided by Touch ‘n Go throughout the country including ATMs to shopping malls.

They advise users to plan their journey and ensure that their Touch 'n Go cards have sufficient balance before entering the highway.

They are also working closely with Touch ‘n Go Sdn Bhd to ensure all the Touch ‘n Go kiosks are in good working condition at all times.
