Despite the country coming to a standstill multiple times in the past two years, Proton has still managed to deliver 100,999 units of the Proton Saga since its launch back in August 2019.
Proton has been celebrating milestone after milestone. At one point, Proton was reportedly receiving 500 bookings daily for the updated A-segment sedan.

Proton is also happy to announce that they sold 5,666 units of the Saga in November 2021, which Proton claims is the number one seller in the A-segment sedan market, implying that it outsold the Perodua Bezza.
To recap, the updated Proton Saga introduced in 2019 comes with a new 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission mated to its 1.3-litre VVT engine that does 95 PS and 120 Nm.

Inside, the Saga featured a new Android-based 7-inch touchscreen head unit with Bluetooth connectivity and 16 GB internal storage.
