Owner Review: Activate every journey? - My Perodua Ativa 1.0 H

2021 Perodua Ativa H

Reasons why I bought this car(purpose):

First, I will consider maintenance costs and I am also looking for a bigger car for a long journey. 

Car Selection Process

• I had a budget of RM80,000
• Models that I have considered include Toyota Vios / Yaris or Honda Jazz

- First of all, I never considered getting an SUV but since the new launch from perodua. Since I am busy at work most of time, my bro in law is the one who actually do survey for me. 
- I have no issue with my previous car which is my mom's Perodua Kenari / Myvi 1.3 SE, my first purchase which both never gave me an issue. We do have new Myvi 1.5 and Aruz as well. 
- Friendly service centre nearby to my location (Perodua Rasah Seremban)

User Experience

• I have already done 7,106 km.
• My average fuel consumption is 17km/L.  

- Great handling
- Performance part which is turbo-come 1.0cc is more fuel efficient. 
- Actually there is a minor issue like there is some plastic noise and behind rattling noise but it does not bother me much. 

Pros and Cons

Pros of my car

- Reasonable fuel consumption.
- The price of H model already come with all safety features. 
- Great handling, - Great interior design. 
- Comfortable seat which is suit for tall people to drive. 
- Stylish 16inch rim design.

Cons

- i don't quite like the plastic noise in between door trim and speaker especially when you turn on music with high volume.
- The car should come with daylight LED even without body kit.
- Not sure why the middle H spec does not come with original DVR instead we had install at our own. 
- Morning start engine noise is quite loud.

Summary:

Overall for this car. I can say it’s a good purchase with such a price. technically i won't complain that much. The safety features are useful especially for long hours driving the car.
