Owner Review: Joyful box for my family - My Perodua Alza

Basic information about my car:

2014 Perodua alza (av) white 1.5 (a)

Reasons why I bought this car(purpose):

As the family is growing we need a car that is comfortable and space for luggage.

Car Selection Process

• I had a budget of 20k (another 20 k are from financial institution)
• Models that I have considered include Nissan grand livina and proton exora

- Space. Even when the last row of seats are put up we still have some space. After we took the car we realize that one seat at the last row can be still lay flat and offer some space for luggage.
- Power. the 1.5 litre engine is giving enough power we needed.
- Gear box: Our last 2 cars are manual, it is high time to own an auto gear car.

User Experience

• I have already done 20k km (it was already 62000 km) now the it's 84000km.
• My average fuel consumption is 7.5L/100km.  

- We are "Delighted" The kids love it, they are more comfortable for long journeys (we make occasional long journeys) when we are allowed to travel.  
- It offers good handling and stability. It's 1.5 litre engine is powerful enough. Smooth gearbox went for major servicing (on the advice of a relative who owns an alza) the service manager at the sc was commenting the car feels like a new car.(thanks to the previous owner) based on the record the car was serviced and maintained by the owner by sending it to sc accordingly.

Pros and Cons

Pros of my car

- Space, comfort, fuel efficient (economical car) and stability.

Cons

- The front bumper skirting/lips are little too low it tend to scrapped the road curve at parking space.
- The AC are not as cold as proton cars( an honest comment) I owned 2 saga cars before.
- The front suspension are on the hard side (i can live with that, not a big deal).

Summary:

Overall, we are very happy with the car. I hardly have any complaints. Looking forward to driving a long journey and enjoying the car performance. I hope the pandemic will be over soon so we can move around and start travelling again.
