The reason why I bought this car

I own a Peugeot 308 T 2010 4 speed, the driving experience is superb, handsome looking. The most important for me is, I don't want to be like others ppl, the same Toyota, Honda, boring things. Why do I go for something different? I like Peugeot since I was a child. And s, the previous 308 brings me a lot of electrical problems after 5 years drive. Non-stop repair and my wallet bleeding too. Then I come to my mind to change it, and I tested the Toyota Vios 2019, Honda city 2019, Almera is totally out of my list. and I tested the Yaris as well. It was ok.. you know... ok.

One day I pass by the Peugeot center and suddenly it comes to my mind why not give it another chance, so I tested the 2019 208 PureTech, it was super fun to drive, quality-wise for sure Peugeot win la, so those who drive a European car they’ll understand me.

Car selection process

  • I had a budget  below RM 100k
  • Models that I have considered include Yaris, Vios, City, HR-V. Oh even the new Myvi 1.5

Reasons why I chose this car:

Driving experience. interior design, the quality of the car. and I want to be different from others as I said before.

User Experience

  • I have already done 25,806 km
  • My average fuel consumption is 5L/100km

Since the purchase, my thoughts about the car are so far so good, everything's fine, powerful enough for me, comfortable drive., fuel consumption ok. (is 1.2 turbo) small car so not really makan minyak.
One thing I need to say is .. services mahal haha, labour charge expensive, inexperienced technician. that's the only problem for Peugeot car, so I hope Bermaz take over from Naza will try to improve the services and the workers quality.

Summary:

So far I am happy with my 208 PureTech, it hasn't touched for 2 years yet, so hope it won't bring me the same problem that I face on my previous 308 T, as I really take good care of the car, and I only use it as a weekend car.
For quality and driving experience 208 wins... Japanese car is more for comfortable, reliable ( maybe) and I heard a lot of story about Japanese car nowadays too. for me la, is really a nice car la.. will just sharing my thought and experience. Thank you.
