Owner Review: Pure, naughty hybrid power - My 2017 BMW 330e

Basic information about my car:

2017 BMW 330e

Reasons why I bought this car(purpose):

I actually just want to try another Conti car that is not Mercedes. My family has the tradition that when it comes to buying a Conti car, it must be a Mercedes. So I decided to breach the 'law' by purchasing a BMW as an addition to my garage which already has W205 inside.
What made me choose the 330e is because of the on-paper power. Seems silly, but that's fact. Plus, after researching I found out BMW service is much cheaper than Mercedes (SC service).
The extended warranty for the battery also makes me pick this car.

Car selection process

• I have a budget of: RM200,000
• Models that I have considered include: BMW F30 330e & Merce A250 W176 

Reasons why I chose this car:

I chose it because I got the soul of a sedan, no matter what I think sedans have a better look than hot hatches out there. 
Even the A250 AMG line has a better reputation, but I chose to try the hybrid power.
some ask why not considering C350e? easy, i already got C180 which is almost the same and it's over my budget.

User Experience

• I have already done: 30,000 KM
• My average fuel consumption is: 7L/100km

Unlike Mercedes, BMW is more sharp on handling and better response. It delivers the power you want as immediate as you push the pedal, almost no delay in reaction. a little bit of discomfort in city driving since my car is equipped with the M Sport suspension kit, but on the straight line or highway, it gives you the confidence you need to push the pedal.
Dealing with SC is also easier since they did not act like other brands that just simply look for excuses to decline your warranty. I have no problem with the service center since they did their job efficiently and quickly. 
I once had a power management issue where my car didn't want to change to battery power during slow cruising. but it was solved by the SC in only one night.
So far I have no regrets choosing this car.

Pros and Cons

Pros of my car

1. It delivers instant power you need with the combination of powerful engine and hybrid power.
2. the cornering is magnificent, sharp, responsive and make you more confident to enter fast cornering
3. I save lots of money since usually I will fully utilise the battery power. max i got 470km on a single refueling. which is fair for me.

Cons 

1. It's the afaid-dilema feeling that every hybrid owner has. "Is it gonna break?"
2. The interior looks like it was built in early 2000, cheap plastic parts, dull interior, too comfortable seat even for M Sport.
3. Less cargo space since you have to give space for the battery.

Summary:

Overall, I am satisfied choosing the F30 330e as my daily car. Yes, the cautious feeling about the battery is there, but the extended warranty is likely to calm your stress. In addition, the power output, responsive handling are some of the reasons why this car is really realeven for daily and 'naughty' weekend cars. tons of upgrades available, either engine power or accessories, it is really easy to find out there. I'm one happy owner.
