After driving for nearly 3,000 kilometres, I would like to share my feelings about Toyota Corolla Cross, top model, Hybrid Premium Safety, Sport, and compare it with the original car.

Before Seeing the Real Car

When I first saw the picture of it, I began to smile, and I thought that the front was boldly designed. It was a brave decision that the production of this car was approved. As for the rear of the car, it was beautiful, perfect. The old design team must have left, because the latest design of Toyota is even accepted and loved by teenagers like us.

When Seeing the Real Car

If it is used to serve the family, a new car can only be a Toyota, and not a sedan. The only options left are Toyota Fortuner and Toyota Corolla Cross, and you have to go to see the real car at a showroom near your home. The first time I made eye contact with it, I looked at her “mouth” and it was not worse than I thought, it was enough, with the Moon Roof. From then on, every new car to buy must be equipped with holes, so when we got off the Toyota Fortuner, we would not talk about any test drive relating to batteries. Because the road in the neighborhood was smooth and we did not test drive for a very long distance, we did not fully test anything, and would not consider it.

Acceleration

I've never driven a hybrid car before. In my mind, I think it must be unable to accelerate, because normally Honda will hit the red line on almost every gear. However, if you try driving at the same pace, it is not bad. When I accelerate to overtake other cars, there is no chance to change the working of hybrid cars, but the start of the red light makes me feel very uncomfortable, as if I tried to drive Smoot the most, unable to feel that it is accelerating, because I try not to let the engine spin violently.

Balance

As always, if you drive fast, drive at low load first and you have to adjust a lot. The curve that splashed with speed before won’t appear on the Corolla Cross. Some curves are lighter. Sometimes it blooms until it drives out of the lane. There is a shock as well. I can only tell myself when to drive the Corolla Cross lightly.The child comes in slowly and turns beautifully.

Sound

I must say that if the road is clear, the car is really quiet.

But when encountering a concrete road, I feel that the contractor has made a piece of music which has never been heard on this terrible friction groove. As an old car, it is noisy. If the noisy level of the old car is 100%, then the Cross is 70-80%.

Adaptive Cruise Control

If you get a chance to test drive it for a long distance and there is no hill on the road, it will work fine. And when you drive downhill, it is not bad. But it is not good because it is time to compensate for the lost speed. You feel that the machine around you almost runs at Power Mode, and you even see the long hills. Just listen to the sound of the engine and have fun.

There is another story. If we lock the speed of the car ahead of 2 or 3 marks, there will be enough distance for the car to pass. If it overtakes it, and insert it in a close distance, prepare for the distance keeping system. I am sure that your elder will be shocked and tell you to slow down the car. Do you have enough shock power? Because sometimes you may feel yourself braking too hard.

When Washing the Car for the First Time

As usual, the design team should be cursed. Can you please design a part that the water has to hang on when the car is being washed and it tilts at a certain angle, allowing water to flow down? Pee played the design, which was totally parallel to the earth. The water remains open, such as the lower front mouth, and the rear bumper when the door is closed.

This elephant ear collects gall of water for all models, brands, but Honda and Toyota is completely dry elsewhere. Water still flows on elephant ears in some way. 

The tail lights are beautifully designed like a reservoir with a lot of fillers. The hole is so narrow that the remaining water can't come out. I haven't taken the mouthpiece yet. It is so tiring to wash the rear lights. I doubt whether I have to put tissue paper on when washing is done, just as before.

Storage Compartment

This is what a lot of people complain about, but I am not one of them. However, I have to say that there is just so little storage space. Oh the middle storage compartment between the front seats is closed by me by accident. I am so shocked. Can’t it be done with a soft close? Or add a solid spring? It gives me the feel that I am likely to break the car when I close the storage compartment.

Conclusion

I have a lot to complain but I am satisfied with this car. Probably we have to adapt a lot to a car, so there is something to complain. I like its perfect rear most but hate the storage compartment in the middle. Go ahead and buy it! The stuff is really good.
