The seven-seat SUV Perodua Aruz comes in two models and is priced at:

Aruz 1.5X: RM 72,900

Aruz 1.5AV: RM 77,900

All variants come with a 5-year / 150,000 km warranty (whichever comes first).

Compared with its sibling Rush, Aruz's differences mainly at the air intake grille, and the third pole Perodua badge. The chrome strips are also connected to the LED daytime running lights in the LED headlights.

Aruz has one solid color -ivory white, and four metallic colors, namely Amazon Green, Granite Gray, Electric Blue, and Shiny Silver.

Internally, Aruz has its own dashboard design. Two silver trims outline the shape of the entire dashboard. You can also see Perodua's own 7-inch infotainment screen.

Both variants come as standard with 17-inch two-tone alloy wheels, keyless entry and start, integrated SmartTAG, six airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, VSC, hill start assist, hill descent control and Isofix child seat anchors on outer second-row seats. The AV variant adds Perodua's Active Safety Assist 2.0 autonomous emergency braking function, which has been upgraded to include pedestrian detection (speeds up to 50 km/h only). It also increases pre-crash warnings at speeds up to 100 km / h and increases pre-crash braking at speeds up to 80 km / h. Other features include a front exit alarm with pedal misoperation control.

The Perodua Aruz has also been awarded a 5-star ASEAN NCAP safety rating by the Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research (MIROS).

Aruz uses the Toyota Rush's 2NR-VE Dual VVT-i 1.5-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine, but Aruz's power is 3 horsepower and 3Nm lower than Rush. The maximum horsepower is 102PS at 6,000rpm and the maximum torque is 133Nm. At 4,200 rpm. The Dual VVT-i engine equipped with a 4-speed automatic transmission.

Aruz has a fuel efficiency of 15.6 kilometers per litre or 6.4 litres/100 kilometers. Therefore, according to the current Malaysian national automobile policy, Aruz is eligible for Energy Efficient Vehicle (EEV) qualification.
