Perodua continues to do its part to help the country curb the Covid-19 virus with a fresh supply of medical equipment to the Sungai Buloh Hospital. The latest donation is worth RM 80,000 and includes new items based on feedback given by the hospital’s administrative team.
The medical supplies include 5,000 face shields, wheelchairs equipped with safety belts, commode chairs, transfer boards, bed railings, rehabilitation chairs, walking frames, walking sticks and a therapy tilt table.

But this isn’t the first time Perodua has contributed supplies to the Sungai Buloh hospital. During the first Movement Control Order (MCO) last year, the manufacturer contributed 150 mattresses, 200 pillows, 105 boxes of mineral water, 15 industrial fans and 300 pairs of rubber boots to the hospital.
With yet another contribution of 5,000 face shields to the hospital, this brings the number of face shields that Perodua has contributed to various organisations to 35,000 units.
Recipients of the face shields included schools, clinics, local government offices and councils, and even market hawkers in the surrounding community.
Stay home and stay safe, let’s hope the number of infections per day would start going down soon.
