Perodua has an answer for parents who struggle with the need to change the child safety seat every few years. Known as the Perodua Care Seat, the new child safety seats will replace the company’s previous GearUp Infant and Toddler seats. The seats retail for RM 680 in Peninsular Malaysia and RM 695 in East Malaysia.
The new Care Seat is suitable for children of all ages up to 12 (or weighing 36 kg). Perodua designed the seats so they can be rotated to face backwards or forwards. It has 6 recline angles as well as a harness that self-adjusts according to the headrest position.

With so many adjustments available, this means that there is no need for parents to purchase yet another child safety seat when their children outgrew the infant seat. This would be a huge welcome for lower-income families.
“The Perodua Care Seat is more cost-effective as the same seat can be used for the child throughout, without needing to change from an infant to a toddler seat as the child gets older,” said Perodua President and Chief Executive Officer Dato’ Zainal Abidin Ahmad.

The Perodua Care Seats are ISOFIX-enabled and comply with the ECE R44/04 standards. The seats are available in 2 colour options, grey or blue, and comes with a 1-year warranty.
On sale in all-authorised Perodua outlets nationwide, Perodua is also offering parents the choice to factor the price of the Perodua Care Seat into the hire purchase of new Perodua vehicles.
