The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) are looking for a group of men over Covid-19 standard operating procedure (SOP) violation.
This comes after a photo of the men huddled up over a Hot Wheels display stand at a toy store in Pavilion Bukit Jalil went viral, clearly showing that social distancing is a foreign concept to them.
According to Harian Metro's report, Cheras district police chief, Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Idzam Jaafar said that initial investigations show that the incident happened on Friday, 3-December 2021.
Idzam said that the police are investigating the matter following Section 22 (b) of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988, and Rule 17 (1) of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (No.2) Regulations 2021.
Those who have information to share on this matter can call the Cheras district police headquarters (IPD) at 013-2165881, the Kuala Lumpur police hotline at 03-21460584/585, or contact any nearby police station.
