BMW Malaysia has confirmed that almost all units of the pre-facelift G01 BMW X3 have been sold out here. We were told that some BMW dealers may still have it in their inventory, so do check with your preferred dealer if you’re eyeing one.

The G01 BMW X3 facelift (LCI) made its global debut back in June 2021, almost exactly four years since the pre-facelift was unveiled in 2017. The pre-facelift G01 BMW X3 arrived in Malaysia back in April 2018, around 10 months after the reveal.

Judging by the timeline of the pre-facelift model, we have a rough prediction as to when the G01 BMW X3 facelift will arrive. An official timeline for the facelifted model has not been shared yet, but it is reasonable to expect a launch in the coming months.

To recap the pre-facelift BMW X3, there were three variants on offer:

• sDrive20i xLine - RM 286,674*
• xDrive30i Luxury - RM 304,235*
• xDrive M Sport - RM 324,164*

The BMW X3 sDrive20i is powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged engine that makes 184 PS, 300 Nm. Meanwhile, the xDrive30i makes 245 PS, 350 Nm. Both engines are paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
