Is the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo considered a station wagon, a hatchback, or a coupe? Well, Porsche couldn’t decide which category to place it and decided to call it a Cross Utility Vehicle (CUV).
7 months after it was announced, the Taycan crossover is making its Malaysian debut.
Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP) is offering 3 variants of the Taycan Cross Turismo here which are:
Taycan 4 Cross Turismo (From RM 645,209)
Taycan 4S Cross Turismo (From RM 728,727)
Taycan Turbo Cross Turismo (From RM 968,928)
All prices stated are exempted from 50% SST which is valid until 31-December 2021. The base Taycan Cross Turismo is around RM 60,000 dearer than the cheapest Taycan variant, the Taycan RWD.
That being said, the Taycan Cross Turismo comes standard with all-wheel drive (AWD) so it is actually around RM 70,000 less expensive than the base Taycan AWD, the Taycan 4S.
Also available as standard across the three variants of the CUV is Performance Battery Plus and adaptive air suspension.

The cladding and chonky looks aren’t for show as the Taycan Cross Turismo is claimed to be capable on off-road terrain with a Gravel mode that is exclusive to the CUV. This manages torque distribution through traction-optimised shifting and other chassis settings.
The Taycan Cross Turismo will be available for viewing at Porsche Centres nationwide in the coming weeks. If you’re interested to view the Porsche CUV, you can schedule for an appointment here.
