Proton’s epic 1 Tank Adventure draws to a close

36 finalists, 18 Proton cars and 710km later, Proton’s 1 Tank Adventure ends on a high note.

For the last leg of the 1 Tank Adventure, participants were required to drive from Kota Bharu, Kelantan all the way to Johor Bahru. This is the longest route yet for the challenge compared to their previous rounds!

This year, Proton has also set new rules to ensure that the speed difference is enforced between competitors by setting a time limit to check in to the set checkpoints.

The results are an average set speed of 70 kmh between all participants and recorded final results of 4.82 l/ 100km for the Iriz, 5.03 l/ 100km for the Persona and 4.65 l/ 100km for the Saga respectively.

With that record, the 1 Tank Adventure has proven that the Proton Iriz and Saga would easily travelled over 800 km (based on a 40 L fuel tank).

Along the way, participants were also invited to enjoy local delicacies at all checkpoints like Nasi Kerabu with chicken and keropok lekor just to name a few.
