Ralliart is back, except that it'll be on the Mitsubishi Outlander 01

Ralliart – the name that is often associated with fire-spitting Mitsubishi models will returning next year with the debut of the Ralliart Concept Car at the 2022 Tokyo Auto Salon. Said motor show is slated to commence from 14- to 16-January 2022.

Now, the sole teaser image released by the tri-diamond brand only revealed a massive diffuser piece with the iconic Ralliart emblem tacked to the upper right corner. Beyond that, it’s anyone’s guess what Mitsubishi will showcase next year, but Mitsubishi was keen to point out that “The Ralliart concept car brings together Mitsubishi Motors' engineering and passion for Monozukuri challenges (craftsmanship). With a premium-feel and a strong sense of presence, the styling expresses the company's vision for the new Ralliart.”

We believe that the Ralliart Concept Car could be a souped-up Mitsubishi Outlander. Five months ago, Japanese sources reported that Mitsubishi has plans to slap on the Ralliart branding on the Outlander, which could result in the RalliArt Outlander Evolution.
